Ein Underground-Fairytale
Ein Abend am Schnittpunkt von Konzert, Theater und Lichtperformance, basierend auf dem gleichnamigen Musik-Album Rauland, das im November 2022 in Köln sein deutsches Release feierte.
Die Bühne – ein Raum aus leuchtenden Skulpturen.
Die einzigartige Stimm- und Textwelt von Susanne Kubelka reicht von aktuellen Erzählungen über ein zerbrechendes Menschenbild bis hin zu sirenenhaften Waldstimmen, die uralte Geschichten für die moderne Welt erzählen. Dazu kommen chansonartig dargebotene Lieder in bester österreichischer Liedkunst-Tradition. Dirk Schilling, langjähriges Mitglied der Kölner Elektronik-Szene, experimenteller E-Gitarrist und Komponist, ist Partner und Counterpart in Humming Lights. Gemeinsam erschaffen sie in Rauland eine facettenreiche Welt aus Avantgarde-Musik, Elektronik, klassischem Songwriting und Theater.
Die japanische Performance- und Installationskünstlerin Yoshie Shibahara führt mit ihrer feinsinnigen Lichtchoreografie durch den Bühnenraum.

An evening at the intersection of concert, theater, and light performance, based on the eponymous music album Rauland, which celebrated its German release in November 2022 in Cologne. The stage – a space filled with glowing sculptures.
The unique world of voice and text by Susanne Kubelka ranges from contemporary narratives about a breaking human image to siren-like forest voices telling ancient stories for the modern world. Additionally, there are chanson-like songs presented in the finest Austrian song art tradition.
Dirk Schilling, a long-time member of the Cologne electronic scene, experimental electric guitarist, and composer, is a partner and counterpart in Humming Lights. Together, they create a multifaceted world of avant-garde music, electronics, classical songwriting, and theater in Rauland.
Japanese performance and installation artist Yoshie Shibahara guides the audience through the stage space with her delicate light choreography.
